Role: Product Marketing & Design
When I first joined Codecademy, there was no marketing department. I developed a visual system and copy guidelines that, with ongoing creative direction, helped the company ramp up marketing spend quickly.
I established guidelines for email marketing, newsletters, landing pages, copy, social media assets, and on-platform upsells. My foundational work helped the marketing team scale quickly and generate millions of dollars in revenue.
I provided ongoing creative direction and design work for new landing pages, paid advertising, course launches, and partnerships. I represented design and product in our relationships with video production, PR, design, and branding agencies.
