Role: Product Marketing & Design
When I first joined Codecademy, there was no marketing department. I developed a visual system and copy guidelines that helped the company scale marketing efforts.
I established guidelines for email marketing, newsletters, landing pages, copy, social media assets, and on-platform upsells. These assets helped the marketing team fill new positions and move quickly.
I provided ongoing creative direction and design work for new landing pages, paid advertising, course launches, and partnerships. I represented design and product in our relationships with video production, PR, design, and branding agencies.
